For help, email aditya@alcyonite.com. Include your device model, iOS version, and what happened. Remove customer names, addresses, and other sensitive details from any examples.
Format your first message
- Choose Incoming order in Convert.
- Paste your message and tap Format text.
- Review and edit the fields. Missing details can remain blank.
- Choose Text to see the formatted message, then copy or share it.
Create your own format
Open Formats and choose Create a format. Describe what to extract and how the finished message should read. Build the format, review its fields, give it a name, and save it. One custom format is free in addition to the included order format.
Share text from another app
Select text in an app that supports sharing, tap Share, and choose FormatIO. If it is hidden, use More to enable it. FormatIO uses your last selected format and starts extraction. Some apps share links or files instead of text; copy and paste the message when necessary.
Generation is unavailable
Generation requires an Apple Intelligence-compatible device with Apple Intelligence enabled and the on-device model downloaded. Availability also depends on language and region. Check Apple Intelligence & Siri in Settings, let model downloads finish, and try again. FormatIO has no remote AI fallback. If a message is too long, split it into smaller parts.
iCloud changes have not appeared
Check that both devices use the same Apple Account and have iCloud available. Open FormatIO on both devices and use Settings → Sync now. Keep a copy of important source messages while resolving a sync issue.
Subscriptions and restoring access
FormatIO Unlimited unlocks unlimited custom formats for US $1.99 per month or US $9.99 per year. Both plans include the same feature. Local pricing appears before purchase. Open Settings → Restore Purchases with the Apple Account that made the purchase. Manage or cancel your subscription through App Store account settings. Existing formats and results remain accessible after your subscription ends.
Correct or delete a result
Open a result from History to edit its fields. Generated information may be inaccurate, so review it before sharing. Delete unwanted results from History. Deleting a custom format does not remove its earlier saved results.
